What it's Like to Retire in Pitlochry

Pitlochry is a regional center in the county of Perthshire with great shopping and restaurants. There are lovely homes on interesting side streets, some of which can be rented seasonally (self-catered). The entire town, downtown area and side streets included, is very charming. The area is popular with vacationers and retirees who buy or rent manufactured homes, cabins, and cabins and enjoy the mountain scenery. On a recent visit we asked our guide where he would retire in Scotland if he could. Pitlochry was the answer, because it is centrally located and has everything he needs.
