Fort Mill is an affluent and fast-growing town of just over 10,000 people in extreme north central South Carolina.  Although located in SC, it is actually a suburb of Charlotte (NC). Fort Mill is an active small town with a lot of outdoor recreation opportunities and a community playhouse. Anne Springs Close Greenway is a 2,100 acre nature preserve that offers  hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, picnics, and kayaking.

Fort Mill has a history museum, a community playhouse, and has festivals during the year, including a very popular Strawberry Festival held each spring. Charlotte is nearby for all sorts of restaurants and cultural venues.



The crime rate in Fort Mill is well below the national average.

Piedmont Medical center is the closest hospital, about 7 miles away.



The nearest airport is in Charlotte, NC, about 20 miles away.
