Apollo Shores is an active adult community located on Bar Walls Lake near Spring City, Tennessee. It features single family homes and beautiful vistas of the the lake. Each summer neighbors gather together for an annual meeting and picnic. Bar Walls Lake is a reservoir on the Tennessee River created by Watts Bar Dam as part of the Tennessee Valley Authority system.

Due to the recent removal of the street light at Apollo drive and Windsor ct. , I'm now requesting that every street light that the association pays for be turned off. I was told that the reason for the light turned off was only due to shining in residential homes, not for safety reasons. I was also told there was a cost of around $20 per month. I'm further requesting that all lights be turned off for further savings to this community. I am requesting to know how much all the lights will save per year since the community is hurting for "money". I further requesting who attended this meeting and who voted in favor of this action. I was told I have to put this request in form of a email. It's nice to see that the board puts discomfort over safety. Now we'll see if this practice continues. All of these street lights bother me!!!
