| Apache Junction is brutally hot during the summer months, but so is everywhere in the Phoenix metro area, and most of Arizona. People considering a move to this area should be ready for perpetual, serious heat from May through October. Also, there are some medical facilities in this area, but for the most part plan on traveling in/around Phoenix and Scottsdale for most specialty care. Shopping for essentials is easy in the local area, but anything more exotic will require a trip into the Phoenix/Scottsdale areas. | |

| Summers are scorching | |
| I don\'t know who came up with the average temperature in Apache Junction being 90 in July. That is ridiculous. The temps from May to September are more often than not over 100 and in July the probably top out at 110+. It may be 90 at midnight.....LOL | |
