Florence is a town of 26,785 people (2020 Census), located southeast of Phoenix. It is one of the oldest towns in Arizona. The Arizona State Prison is nearby and a major employer. What people are saying about Florence

We\'ve been through Oregon and camped in Florence at the casino mentioned in this article many times. We\'ve always found Florence to be a delightful place to visit with a great river east of town. We think that the hot ticket would be to get a small home or RV lot 5-10 miles east of town where the fog wouldn\'t be as much of a factor but there was still access to the river. The old town is very nice with some excellent restaurants and cute shops. It\'s a friendly town near other wonderful coastal towns.
