Oro Valley is a rapidly growing region about 15 miles north of Tucson in southern Arizona. CNN/Money named Oro Valley #44 on its list of "Best 100 Places to Live and Launch". The 2020 population is over 44,000, median January temperature is 50, elevation is 2500'. The population is a bit older than Arizona in general, yet many younger families with children live here. The area has a vibrant economy with a combination of luxury resorts, retirement communities, and a strong biotech industry. Many folks live here only in winter. In addition to the beautiful scenery and lively environment, the Oro Valley offers superb recreational facilities - from golf and tennis to mountain biking and hiking in the nearby mountains.
