Griffin Georgia is a small town of 24,000 having a strong revival. It is located about 25 miles south of Atlanta.  The western legend Doc Holliday was born and established his dental practice here. The town has been featured in numerous books and movies, most notably "Driving Miss Daisy".

It is home to one of the largest master planned communities in the country, Peachtree City (see Griffin Active Communities" link at right). 
The median home value in Griffin in mid-2017 was $107,500, according to Zillow.

Griffin is home to a Ballet Theatre, Choral Arts and Griffin School for the Arts;  The town also has several parks, a reservoir for fishing, and golf courses; several events and festivals are held throughout the year; Atlanta is just 25 miles north.

Crime in Griffin is nearly double the national average.
 

Medical facilities

Spalding Regional Hospital serves Griffin. There are 3 other hospitals within 21 miles.
 

Transportation

Griffin is close enough to Atlanta to enjoy that fabulous airport.
