Louisville is a mid-sized city of over 260,000 on the Ohio River. It is the largest city in the State of Kentucky and justly proud to be the home of the Kentucky Derby. Louisville combines the cultures of the south and the midwest, so you know it is a friendly place. The downtown is a mixture of historical buildings and modern skyscrapers. There are 22 parks in town and many cultural attractions and festivals. The more you read about Louisville the more interesting it becomes.
