What people are saying about Washington Court House

I do want to add that after living here for 6 months, that people need to be aware if you need any Medical Specialists, or \"further\" medical treatments you will be sent 35-50 minutes away to Columbus, or helicoptered to Columbus. They do not even deliver babies at their local hospital. Those that can leave, due to needing doctors.

I spent 3 weeks in WCH last summer and now call it home. I find the people very helpful and nice to be around. A very affordable city with low city income tax. I made a bad financial choice retiring in Florida and am glad I am nearer my children in Grove City. One day I can see myself moving in the Villas!

Life in...
Washington Court house is a very nice community to live and retire. The weather is famous for 20 inches of snow, 20 inches of rain a year. For Ohio weather, it is nearer to being the warmest spot in the State. It is considered Humid Subtropical climate! It is 35 minutes from Columbus Ohio. It is easy to get around the town, has a hospital, a Super Walmart center, SCAT van for transportation and is the county seat of Fayette.
