Even though there are all kinds of lists of "best places to retire",  we thought  there is room for one more. This week we feature 7 places to retire that are exceptionally livable - our picks for cities and towns where everyday living is a pleasure.
This affluent suburb of Atlanta was selected by Forbes and Nextdoor as one of America's friendliest cities.  They loved  the many festivals and neighborhood gatherings of the "City of Celebrations".
What should you look for in your new retirement home? The Kitchen & Bath Association just reported the latest trends in kitchens and baths. The contemporary look is in. So is universal design, which we are happy to see. And in the kitchen expect lots of docking and charging stations to stay connected!
This affluent suburb of Oklahoma City is very strong for arts and culture.  And if that wasn't enough, Edmond has been named one of the best small towns and best places to live in America.
