This sprawling oasis in California's Coachella Valley has been a popular spot for retirement for the famous and not so famous for a long time. It has mountains, desert, and hundreds of appealing places to live.  The annual Palm Springs Film Festival is but one of the cultural attractions.
For sure imagination and solution to so many problems the UrbanFarm concept from Spark is a winner (literally). Residents can work on the vertical aquaponic farming on the building’s exterior walls, terraces, and roofs. Some apartments are designed so multiple generations can live together.

Following on last week's Blue Ridge Mountain retirement theme, this town is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Georgia.  Lake Blue Ridge, the Toccoa River, the Blue Ridge Mountains, and the southern tip of the Appalachian Trail are all here and beckoning.

Perhaps you have looked and looked but just haven't found the perfect retirement spot. Well, why not do what many others with shared interests are doing - start your own!
