December 26.  Welcome, to this week's newsletter.  Next week's edition will come out on Thursday, January 2. We hope everyone's holidays are going wonderfully!
As the year ends it's always interesting to see which of our articles resonated the most with our members. Those that report on some aspect of "best place to retire" usually do well.  But many other topics strike a chord too: ideas on what to do in your retirement, tips on selling your home and downsizing, renting and low income retirement suggestions, 10 retirement mistakes - these are just someof the top 10 articles of the year.
The "Grand Strand" is a very popular place to retire because of its low-costs, 120 golf courses, variety of housing, and a wide sandy beach that runs uninterrupted for almost 60 miles.
Explore Myrtle Beach
Located on the Oregon coast at the mouth of the Siuslaw River, about one-third of the 8,000+ residents in this former logging and fishing town are retirees. There is a casino, marina, and boardwalk among other attractions.
