April 13.  Welcome, to this week's newsletter.  We were pleased to have been interviewed by RetirementJourneys.com on our favorite subject - how to go about finding your best place to retire.  We hope you enjoy listening to the Podcast (see link below)!

Coming up nextweek is a new installment in our series of how different people went about finding their retirement spot.  Sandy and Ann will detail how they went from exploring the Sunbelt only to end up in the mountains of Colorado. As always, please share the word about Topretirements.com by forwarding this newsletter to a friend. They can get their own free, no obligation, copy here.

Oro Valley, just north of Tucson, is the kind of place that attracts families and retirees. There are luxury resorts, biotech firms, and nice developments. The outdoors is especially attractive.
Harv wrote a wonderful Blog Comment last year about all the reasons he chose a Tucson retirement. Recently there has been a spate of Comments made on other posts  about Arizona, so we decided to re-issue Harv's post - now including a collection of other insights about the Grand Canyon State.
We only recently learned about this charming little town in extreme southwestern NC (you have to see it on map to believe where it is).  It came to fame with golf legend Bobby Jones arrived with some buddies to start a golf course. Our friends loved it!
We had a lot of fun being interviewed by Ted Carr of RetirementJourneys.com. He asked some great questions that made us think. We hope you find our comments interesting!
Lately there have been a fantastic array of different Comments to our various Blog articles. But the problem is that unless you subscribe to our Daily Digest they are hard to see - sometimes the conversations continue for articles from ayear or two in 2 the past.  Here are just 2 examples: Is Retiring Near Your Family a Good Idea, and Are You Single: Tell Us Where You Are Going to Retire.
Forward this to a friend.   If you have friends thinking about retirement, please forward them this newsletter. They can get their own subscription to this free weekly "Best Places" newsletter, the Daily Digest, and the East and West New Community newsletters by going to our Newsletter sign up page.
